Fans of sixties-era music will want to check out Vixen, a DJ led event taking place at Bar Pink on April 6. “It’s an eclectic, all vinyl, 60’s girl group night,” said organizer and DJ, Glynis Ward. The night will also include performances from San Diego’s own Normandie Wilson, Atlanta based quintet Tiger! Tiger! and San Francisco rockers The Outta Sorts.
“I play anything from female fronted lounge to rockabilly to soul to psychedelia 1960-1969 and have started to add modern female fronted live acts of similar nature, with the occasional man,” Ward said.
