The La Jolla Community Center will be holding an enchanting special event celebration of spring on Sat., March 30 at 6 p.m. that includes an unforgettable concert featuring the incomparable soprano, Anna Belaya, accompanied by Elena Galitskaia. Prepare to be transported on a journey through the realms of classical vocal music, where every note blooms like a delicate flower in the warm embrace of the season.
Embark on a musical odyssey as Belaya lends her captivating voice to an exquisite selection of famous opera arias, each aria a jewel in the crown of the operatic repertoire, pulsating with emotion and drama. Experience the magic of harmonious unity in collaboration with special guests in mesmerizing duets. Immerse yourself in the timeless elegance of classical art songs, as Belaya breathes life into melodies that have echoed through the corridors of history, each song a testament to the beauty and depth of human expression.
Included in this spectacular evening event will be a constellation of Ukrainian artists that have never been presented in San Deigo, who need recognition.
This magical music event will include a debut showing of the fashion collection by Ukrainian designer Oxana Grigorenko. For the second year the designer’s husband has been at war; so she puts her career on hold to make clothes for Ukrainian soldiers. She creates her garments to fundraise money for the Ukrainian army. To help her grow and keep building her own career, Belaya is bringing Grigorenko’s gowns for public exhibition in the United States for the first time in her life. To Grigorenko it’s a dream come true… for the United States fashion collector, it’s a chance to directly invest into the Ukrainian economy and support Ukrainian designers and manufacturers.
On display will be accessories from two other mega-talented designers; Olga Bykova and Elena Romanova, who are also currently in Ukraine, trying to work and succeed no matter what. They have sent their work to Belaya with hopes to reach out to the local San Diego community in support and appreciation of their craftsmanship.
To top off the enchanted evening of music and fashion, the fashion collection will be presented with all Ukrainian models-volunteers under the music accompaniment of a newly arrived to San Diego Violinist/composer from Ukraine, Nadd Hobb.
