There will be a taste of New Orleans in Mission Bay on March 9 when the Six String Society presents their Third Annual Mardi Gras Cruise. The night will feature eight of the area’s top bands aboard the sternwheeler, William D. Evans, with music on all three levels. On hand will be The Sleepwalkers, Euphoria Brass Band, Shay and the Hustle, The Tighten Ups, Bayou Brothers and the Ass Pocket Whiskey Fellas. Meanwhile singer-songwriters Andy Lewis and Gregory Page will be performing on the top deck. With everything from blues and rock ’n’ roll to cumbias on offer, as well as the changing backdrop of the San Diego skyline, this fun night will be an unbeatable floating dance party.
