The San Diego International Organ Festival kicks off on June 24 at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park. Running through August 19, the event features acclaimed organists from around the world. The event programs will for the most part feature classical, with the exception of opening night, which will be devoted to the music of classic rock icons, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. a tribute to Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin with Raúl Prieto Ramírez on the organ and local musicians. The concert will feature Raúl Prieto Ramírez and the Spreckels Organ Rock Band, featuring noted drummer Richard “T-Bone” Larson and singer Ariel Levine. The latter is notable in his own right, having won the “Song of the Year” trophy at the 2018 San Diego Music Awards. Balboa Park is always a wonderful place to be. On June 24 it will have an amazing soundtrack.
