Acclaimed trumpeter Dr. John Reynolds will perform with his jazz trio for a New Orleans-in- spired evening from 7 to 9 p.m., Feb. 25 at Madison in University Heights.
The special event is in celebration of Mardi Gras. It will feature Cajon/Creole dishes such as jambalaya as well as staple cocktails that fit the occasion. Those include vegan milk punch crafted with three different rums, and the “queen of crowns” made with gin, fennel, anise and wormwood. It’s served with burning incense and a tarot card.
