Every participant received a pumpkin and sharpees, glitter, and other decorating materials to transform pumpkins into works of art. To climax the event, the kids and adults, many in costume, participated in a parade through Clay Park. RCC Treasurer Laurel Grinnell-Wilson with her drum and in her lucha libre wrestling costume led the parade. Cherrie Flowers and Alisa Malinovich planned and organized the celebration, and members of the RCC Community Events Team helped make it happen. The Halloween gala was such a grand success there’s little doubt we’ll see it repeated in October 2019.
