One of San Diego’s most beloved music fans, Bernadette Thorn, sadly passed away last month. On October 21 Holy Trinity Anglican Church will host a special free memorial concert featuring many of her favorite Southern California performers, who will each perform three song acoustic sets. On hand will be Dave Humphries, Rex Broome & Christina Bulbenko (The Armoires), Bill Hartwell, Scott Samuels (Solitary Diamonds), Michael Rennie, Steve Rosenbaum, David Fleminger (Manual Scan), Steve Rosenbaum, Jim Hinton and Liz Abbott, with surprise guests likely. Thorn’s presence at upcoming shows will be missed, but her spirit will live on in the music of the many musicians she supported.
