Guitar instrumentalists Los Straightjackets return to the Casbah on April 25 for a killer double bill that includes rockabilly/cumbia favorites, The Sleepwalkers.
Hailing from “Surf City,” the band is non-stop fun, from the choreographed moves to the signature wrestling masks. Los Straightjackets have released two dozen albums since their 1994 beginnings, with a new one on the way, Channel Surfing, featuring their take on TV show themes, from “The Andy Griffith Show” to “Game of Thrones.” Meanwhile, openers The Sleepwalkers continue to deliver one of the best shows in town, topped by Ritchie Ordure’s terrific guitar playing. It’s almost impossible not to dance to this combo. This is one show you won’t want to miss a second of.
