Come to San Diego on Iconic guitarist Adrian Belew performs at the Music Box on September 13. It’s impossible to understate the importance of Belew’s playing on the music world. Though he only scored one hit in his own right, “Oh Daddy” (1989 / #58) , Belew has played on numerous hits for others, including albums by Frank Zappa, David Bowie, King Crimson, Talking Heads, Nine Inch Nails and Paul Simon. Currently touring in support of his new album, Pop-Sided, expect plenty of new songs, but whatever he pulls from his catalog of tunes promises to be a masterclass in guitar artistry.
