San Diego County Credit Union is kicking off National Blood Donor Month by hosting a multi-location blood drive at SDCCU locations throughout San Diego and Riverside counties to help stabilize the blood supply and bring awareness to the need for blood donations in our community.

National Blood Donor Month has been observed in January since 1970 with the goal of increasing blood and platelet donations during winter – one of the most challenging times of year to collect enough blood products to meet patient needs.
Appointments are encouraged and can be made at SanDiegoBloodBank.org.
Donors who would like to contribute but are unable to donate at one of these mobile blood drives can donate at any San Diego Blood Bank or Southern California Blood Bank location or blood drive, by registering with donation code TEAL during check-in.
